HMI & Driver Display Unit

The Driver Display Unit provides the human–machine interface between the locomotive systems and the operator. It presents real-time operational data, alerts, and diagnostics in a clear and intuitive format. Integrated with the VCU, the DDU supports safe, informed, and efficient train operation under all conditions.

Remote Monitoring Systems (RMS)

The Locomotive Management Software (LMS) software provides integrated monitoring, control, diagnostics, event recording, fault management, and communication for propulsion, braking, auxiliary, and other locomotive subsystems through standard onboard communication networks. It supports real-time data acquisition, health monitoring, predictive maintenance, fault logging, operator interface functions, and interoperability with the Train Control and Management System (TCMS), enabling enhanced operational reliability, safety, maintainability, and lifecycle management while ensuring compliance with functional, cybersecurity, and software quality requirements for dependable operation on the Indian Railways network.
